WATCH: Slab Chasing With the East Oz Crew

Legendary big wave documentarian, Tim Bonython, seems more than satisfied after a pumping day at a consequential slab on the east coast of Australia, and this 20 minute epic is testament to that. A full lineup of surfers and bodyboarders took on this challenging, fast breaking slab with varying degrees of success.

"I reckon I saw 4/5 snapped boards during this full day session plus a bit of blood."

Tim isn't joking either, as the latter shows in full, a nasty situation involving a young surfer experiencing the full brunt of his own surfboard to the face.
