Polzeath 8.45: After yet another stormy night, the wind has subsided somewhat leaving us with a huge swell and still a lot of rain. I think today surfing here is going to be a right off as the wind is due to switch to onshore and strengthen again this afternoon. Low water is at about 12.00 so most of the smaller coves will be open at some point and Harlyn will be on this morning and later this afternoon. That is going to stay the story for the next couple of days as the wind stays stubbornly onshore and the fronts just keep piling in bring rain and strong winds. I will be in the unit today from 10.30 to about 12.30.
