Surf conditions at 6.20 a.m. on Saturday 5th July 2014: A blustery old morning is upon us, a fresh south westerly breezing into the bay and mixing up that already swirling surf. There’s a lot of blue to be seen in amongst those grey/white clouds. the promise of lighter and brighter for later while still keeping alive the threat of the odd downpour. The surf isn’t all that, three feet, probably bigger, a mixed up and messy, bumpy pile of stuff, bouncing around the bay. That is only an hour or so after low tide and so it is all as exposed as it’s going to be to that brisk wind. The forecasts are showing the wind strength to ease as the day rolls on, still staying onshore and still staying quite blustery but at least weakening in strength. So we can expect a bumpy and mixed up but okay surf to be had through most of today, high tide offering the most opportunity for some fun. I wonder if it’s big enough for Harlyn? let’s have a little look…… WWW.CONSTANTINESURF.COM is the place to go for our early bird SURF REPORT for Constantine Bay and Harlyn Bay as well as the surf forecast for tomorrow and the weekend!
