Strong Cross-Shore wind
Surf conditions at 7.00 a.m. on Saturday 27th April 2013:
It was a wild 'n wet 'n windy one only a short while ago at first light but it all seems to be calming down already. The wind seems to be easing while those dark and menacing storm clouds are drifting away revealing some bright, bright sunshine!
That wind though is still direct northerly right now and so is making a real mess of the high tide surf but the forecasts are showing a slip to north east which is more offshore and so should clean up those waves!
There is a three to four foot swell pouring into the bay, bouncing all over the place right now but with the help of that expected offshore, it could just clean up quite quickly.
So, it is worth keeping your eyes open today!
It could come good and quite quickly too!
Okay, i know that I said that our SALE would have to finish last weekend but we do have just a few random sized Winter wetsuits left to clear and a couple of half decent surfboards on offer. And with those Bank Holidays approaching rapidly (wait, is that a drumbeat echoing in the distance? May Day? Hmmm....), we need some space!
So if you want to drop in on us this weekend - you might just find yourself a cheeky little bargain!
Sorry about the lack of pictures this morning, something is wrong with the site (again!) and so I cannot upload images (again!), We'll try and get it fixed as quickly as we can!
