IT’S official and it comes with a sweet vid, John John Florence has stuck the H of Hurley on his nose.
After 15-ish-years with O’Neill, JJF has jumped ship to the new look Hurley team backed by the Nike Dollar. Reportedly it is a 10-year-deal in the lower multiple of millions which is only slightly more than we pay the MSW tea boy.
Kelly Slater’s manager, Terry Hardy, recently signed up Florence to his management company and is also heading-up ZoSea the agency taking over the current ASP World Tour in 2013.
This deal places a grom who grew up in a tiny house near Pipeline at the vanguard of pro surfing and presumably Mom John and brothers Ivan and Nathan are pleased.
