The Pacific Frontier
Rancho Santana is a world-class resort and residential community located on the Pacific coast of Nicaragua. It boasts 2,700 acres of rolling hills and two miles of rocky and dramatic shore, broken up by five distinct beaches nestled in their own hideaways. Make the Ranch your home, visit for a stellar vacation, or host a special event.
A Unique Location
Tucked between the vast Pacific and immense Lake Nicaragua, Rancho Santana has the distinction of being one of the only isthmuses on the entire Pacific Ocean. An isthmus is defined as a strip of land that is bordered on both sides by water, yet connected on each end by land. This rare geographical phenomenon gives the Ranch nearly constant breezes. These breezes are an enjoyment all their own, but also create some of the world’s most vertical waves, providing both visual drama as well as world-class surfing.
The ultimate goal of Rancho Santana is to provide residents and guests with the technological comforts of first world living while maintaining the quiet and rustic appeal of the area. The Ranch boasts two Clubhouses that each have their own pools and are reserved for the exclusive use of owners and guests. In addition, all the technological amenities of cell phone service, satellite cable, and Internet and free Wifi are abundant. There is also a conference center and boardroom for various uses.
Santana Clubhouse & Restaurant
Santana Clubhouse is the social “hub” of Rancho Santana. Home to the New York Times renowned restaurant, La Finca y el Mar, its where one can go to have a drink with fellow residents or to enjoy a quiet seaside dinner with family and friends. La Finca y el Mar’s farm-to-table concept is accompanied by a world class cocktail selection and wine list, thoughtfully crafted by Executive Chef Calley Prezzano. La Finca y el Mar serves breakfast, lunch & dinner daily.
Nestled in a private cove overlooking the beautiful pink sands of Playa Rosada is a second clubhouse and pool. Rosada Clubhouse offers guests and residents a tranquil oceanfront hideaway – perfect for picnics, cookouts, cocktail parties and sunset gatherings. Plans are currently underway to add a full service kitchen and dining area, turtle-shaped pool and aqua lounge, complete with hammocks.
La Finca y el Mar
Translated, our name is The Farm and the Sea. We showcase a locally sourced menu. Relax and soak in the ambiance of the architecture of La Finca y el Mar which was inspired, in part, by seaside farmhouses in Andalucía, Spain. Open-air terraces frame stunning views of the Pacific as well as rolling hills, flowers and rock formations. Buen Provecho!
